Ruby is from Houdini Llewellins in Michigan. She is also of Bondhu bloodlines related to Highway Dan, born 2/13/23 out of Houdini’s Diamond Macie and Houdini’s D’Hurlain Pre. Ruby is a quick learner from house training to hunting and has become an excellent running buddy in the off-season. She can cover a lot of ground in a short amont of time, and is more than eager to get out there do what she loves best.

Llew was whelped right here at Hickory Hollow out of a first time breeding pair between Houdini’s Scotch Fizz “Scotch” and Hickory’s Point of Hope “Skylar.” One of three pups in her litter, Llew entered the world on October 30, 2023. To say Llew loves life is an understatement, and she will tell you so. If it looks like you’re going somewhere, especially in hunter orange, she’s not going to let you forget her. While Llew doesn’t live with us at Hickory Hollow, we are fortunate enough to see her often. She lives with Jeff’s brother, Brian (and Shannon), and we get the opportunity to have her stay with us when they are out of town, or when Brian joins us on hunting trips. It’s hard to say if she loves coming home to see mom (Skylar) or if she prefers her aunt (Stella) and three half-sisters (Gloria, Jolene, and Georgia) more. Regardless, she fits in as soon as she enters the house, and we love having her visit. Her curious nature is shaping her into a great companion and hunter - she aims to please!
