06/20/10 - Mother Nature just threw us for a HUGE loop this week; ALL of our girls have come into heat within the last 8 days! Based on this new development, we've had to rearrange our Fall 2010 litter plans in order to provide pups from new sire/dam pairings and also to avoid having 4 litters on the ground at once! As you all are aware, in this business we are completely at the mercy of Mother Nature's timing, and things don't always turn out as "planned". Here's how we believe things are going to work out for our Fall 2010 litters...
- Our tentative Daisy / Splash litter which was slated for late Fall 2010 has now been moved to the forefront. Originally expected to be in heat in August, Daisy came in early and is now scheduled to be bred to Splash between June 26-30, 2010, putting pups due August 29-September 2, 2010.
- Our unadvertised, but tentatively scheduled Duchess / Tuck litter for Fall 2010 has also been moved forward. Like Daisy, Duchess came into heat 2 months earlier than expected, so we are going ahead with the breeding to Tuck next week. Breeding is planned for June 28-July 2, 2010, putting pups due August 30 - September 3, 2010.
- Our plans to breed HOPE to Tuck have been postponed until HOPE's next heat cycle which should be early 2011. This is due to the timing of her estimated whelping date, which directly interferes with a timeframe when I would be unable to assist her in the delivery of her pups and I'm not comfortable leaving her in someone else's care. Her first litter just went home 4 months ago, and it's generally better to let her rest for a cycle in between litters anyway.
- The Baby / Tuck litter has been canceled. Due to her field training, Baby was recently sold as a started dog and thus she is no longer available for our breeding program.
06/27/10 - New developments have caused us to postpone the Daisy/Splash litter until Spring 2011. We are sorry for this disappointing news.

We are so excited to bring you our first breeding between our most outstanding female Duchess and Bristol's sire, Tuck. Tuck has a tendency to produce extremely bird crazy puppies and this litter should be for SERIOUS hunters only as these dogs will be more excitable, fast and furious in the field. These pups could well be Field Trial or other Bird Dog Challenge prospects. Duchess has also produced some outstanding pups, loaded with natural hunting, backing and retrieving instincts. Tuck is Bristol's daddy and she was TOP 5 that have ever completed Pea Ridge Llewellin's Gun Dog training program.
Tuck is of Advie bloodlines and has been certified as OFA GOOD. Duchess is of Dashing Bondhu lines and has also been OFA certified.
Update! Duchess was bred to Tuck between 6/22-6/26.

We are excited to finally offer pups out of HOPE's littermate sister, Daisy. With this pairing of Daisy and Splash, we're anticipating another very nice litter comparable to HOPE's first Litter "H", also sired by Splash. Splash has a tendency to produce very even tempered, well-rounded pups with a gentle temperament, a high level of obedience and all the natural hunting instincts you could desire in a dog. Daisy is a great hunter, and she attended professional gun dog training in the Summer of 2009 with HOPE.
Daisy is a grandaughter of Hank from "Hunting with Hank" and is of Dashing Bondhu lines. Splash is of Blizzard blood and his ancestry goes back to King's Kennel. Both dogs have been OFA certified.
